When a part of the brain stops working temporally, this condition is commonly known as stroke which can at times be fatal. The brain stops working due to inadequate oxygen supply. In medical terms stroke is known as CerebroVascular Accident or CVA. When part of the brain does not receive any blood one may suffer from stoke due to the fact that blood carries oxygen in the red blood cells. Oxygen plays a vital role because without it organs in the body will not work properly.

Women who suffer from stroke may show different symptoms depending on the individual. Normally women have very vague symptoms that are somehow different from the normal symptoms that are exhibited by men.  Due to this, most of the time women go undiagnosed, which transcends to the fact that the number of women who have suffered from stroke is quite high.  When the symptoms are wrongly diagnosed and the patient is given the wrong treatment, they eventually develop more complications. Another unusual symptom is unconsciousness. All these signs and symptoms are very difficult to detect in the early stages therefore most women end up suffering the stroke. Other general signs include nausea, chest pains, fatigue and pain in the arms, legs and face. With all this in mind seek medical help as soon as you notice symptoms of stroke.
